Unser Team in Deutschland arbeitet eng mit unseren Kolleg:innen in Kalifornien und an weiteren internationalen Standorten zusammen – aktuell suchen wir befristete Unterstützung für unser Finance-Team.

So könnte dein Tag bei iFixit aussehen

Als Accounting Specialist (m/w/d) spielst du - im Ramen einer Schwangerschafts- und Elternzeitvertretung - eine wichtige Rolle in unserem Buchhaltungsteam.
Du unterstützt sowohl die Kreditoren- als auch die Debitorenbuchhaltung und arbeitest eng mit Kolleg:innen aus Deutschland und den USA zusammen.

  • Prüfen, kontieren und verbuchen von Eingangsrechnungen im ERP-System (NetSuite)

  • Abgleich von Rechnungen mit Bestellungen und Wareneingängen (3-Wege-Abgleich)

  • Verwaltung von Zahlungsläufen und Fälligkeiten

  • Verbuchen von Kundenzahlungen und Bearbeiten von Abzügen

  • Bearbeitung von Rückerstattungen zur Freigabe

  • Unterstützung bei Monats- und Jahresabschlüssen

  • Tägliche Kommunikation auf Deutsch und Englisch

  • Regelmäßige Meetings mit Kolleg:innen in den USA – meist am späten Nachmittag (ca. 1x pro Woche)

Das bringst du mit

  • Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation

  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in der Kreditorenbuchhaltung, idealerweise auch Erfahrung mit Debitorenprozessen

  • Sicherer Umgang mit ERP-Systemen (z. B. NetSuite) und gute Excel-Kenntnisse

  • Gute Englischkenntnisse für die tägliche Kommunikation im internationalen Team (kein perfektes Englisch nötig – du solltest dich einfach sicher fühlen beim Kommunizieren)

  • Eine zuverlässige, eigenverantwortliche Arbeitsweise und Teamgeist

 Our team in Germany is closely connected with our headquarters in California and other international offices – and we’re looking for temporary support in our Finance Team.
Your Responsibilities
As an Accounting Specialist, you’ll take on a key role in our accounting team during a maternity leave cover. You’ll support AP and AR operations and collaborate closely with colleagues from Germany and the US.

  • Reviewing, coding, and posting incoming invoices in our ERP system (NetSuite)

  • Matching invoices with purchase orders and goods receipts (3-way match)

  • Managing payment runs and due dates

  • Apply customer payments to invoices and record deductions

  • Process customer refunds for payment approval 

  • Supporting monthly and year-end closings

  • Daily communication in German and English

  • Regular meetings with colleagues in US - this requires availability for late afternoon meetings at least once per week


Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Completed commercial training or equivalent background

  • Several years of experience in accounts payable

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite) and strong Excel skills

  • Good English skills for daily communication in our international team (you don’t have to be perfect, but should feel confident communicating)

  • A self-driven, reliable working style and a collaborative mindset
